I think it's the change of weather...this past week has found me thinking a lot about this time last year.
Our first family photo...barely pregnant with Jazmine (didn't even know yet) at dad and Katy's wedding, Oct. 23, 2010. Speaking of...happy anniversary!
And here we are a year later with this beautiful little girl. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.
God's creative wonder is awe-inspiring.
This pic is a few weeks old, before it really started getting cool.
It's that time again....I switched my warm and cold weather clothes while Jaz slept earlier today, which I love doing. Good time to clean out and organize the closet, and fun to have fresh wardrobe options!
It actually seems progressively harder to get her to smile for a picture. She's smiling and laughing so much now, but doesn't seem to care about the camera. She'll have to take lessons fro cousin Eli on hamming it up for photo ops :)
Also been thinking lots about Chris's progress in school and what the future might hold. This time last year was his white coat ceremony and the start of his clinical rotations. A year later he has worked in multiple different hospitals and areas of medicine and a main topic of conversation with fellow students and professors is the process of finding a job.
We're breathing a sigh of relief this weekend as he just finished a challenging rotation in pediatrics and did well clinically and on the exam! We're praising the Lord for His faithfulness in sustaining us and providing for us during this season. Monday Chris starts a rotation in the ICU and we take another step towards discerning what is next.
Trip to the city with Chris's parents and Kari and Jonathan when they were in town last October.
There are plenty of challenges along the way, but we are thankful to be enjoying the ride!
It'll be fun to see where we'll be this time next year :)
