Don't worry...that's normal

I am so very thankful for community.  I feel really strongly that at some point we all need someone to tell us, "no you're not crazy....that's normal."  Whether it's about family, friendship, marriage, a job, school, (for us these days) kids, it's always hard to do something new and we all need people who have gone before us to say, "yup, that's how it goes...no, you're not crazy" and talk us through the new stages of life.

I've been extra thankful for email these days and being in touch with friends and family all over the place as we figure out life with Jazmine... 

For the grandparents and other family and friends who care about these details...we had our 2-month checkup at the Dr. last week and Jazmine is doing wonderfully.

She now weighs 9 pounds 11 ounces and is 21 inches long.  The Dr. said she's pleased with how Jazmine is doing...and we are so thankful that she's healthy and doing well!  She finally fits into clothes other than her newborn onsies :)  Which is good because it's getting cool so it's nice to have options to layer her in!

Thanks to my cousin Jackson I have this awesome onesie with cars and trucks on it...and now it's only a little big on me, which makes me happy :)

Yup - that's a smile!  We're enjoying watching Jazmine explore her surroundings and respond to us with smiles, giggles, coos, and all sorts of baby sounds.
